Bishop Mathew Kukah, the founder of the Kukah Centre, has stated that the contentious tax reform proposals of Bola Tinubu’s government will put an end to the financial irresponsibility of the elites.
On Tuesday, he appeared as a guest on Channels Television’s Morning Brief.
Kukah counselled the Federal Government to make sure that the country’s development is a direct result of the ongoing reforms.
The legislation has drawn criticism in a number of regions of the nation since they were introduced and brought to the National Assembly.
Millions of people in the northern region are allegedly the objective, with some claiming they will put too much strain on Nigerians.
