The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a warning regarding the exploitation of candidates at Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers.
Through a tweet on Wednesday, they emphasized that the prescribed registration fees are ₦7,700 for candidates opting for the mock exam and ₦6,200 for those who do not.
This caution from it follows concerns raised by candidates regarding being charged amounts exceeding the specified fees at certain centers.
However, the board encouraged candidates to report such centers to any nearby JAMB office or send a message through X.
JAMB
“They strongly condemns the exploitation of its candidates. If you have evidence of any CBT Center charging fees higher than the approved registration fees of ₦7,700.00 with mock or ₦6,200.00 without mock, please report such centers to any office nearby or DM the details,” it stated.
