Pi Network has implemented a countdown timer to notify users of the January 31, 2025, mainnet migration deadline.
This feature seeks to facilitate a seamless transition by encouraging users to finish required processes, such as Know Your Customer (KYC) authentication. More than 9 million pioneers have successfully made the switch to the mainnet as of early January 2025.
As a visual reminder of the amount of time left for migration, the countdown timer is visible on the Pi Network platform.
To prevent losing Pi coins, users are advised to finish their KYC verification and Mainnet Checklist. Coins that don’t migrate by the deadline risk being locked in the test net, which would restrict their use.
To help users with the migration process, Pi Network has also made instructional materials available, including as videos and manuals. The official portal offers these resources to make sure users can do all required tasks prior to the deadline.
