The naira ended the month of April on a positive note, up N28.15 at the official market, trading at N1,390.96 to the dollar.
According to data from the FMDQ Exchange’s official trading page, it appreciated by 1.98 percent. The percentage rise is noteworthy when compared to the previous trading date on Monday, April 29. The local currency fell steadily over the course of two weeks, reaching N1,419 per dollar.
The success story was repeated in the volume of currencies transacted as the overall daily turnover climbed. It daily turnover was 225.36 million dollars on Tuesday, up from 147.83 million dollars on Monday.
