Naira depreciates to N1,515/$ in parallel market

The value of the Naira fell in the parallel market yesterday, from N1,510 to N1,515 per dollar on Monday.

In a similar vein, the value of the Naira declined on the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market, or NAFEM, to N1,509.45 per dollar.

The indicative exchange rate for NAFEM dropped to N1,509.45 per dollar from N1,508.99 per dollar on Monday, according to data from FMDQ, indicating a 46-kobo devaluation of the naira.

As a result, the difference in rates between the NAFEM and parallel market grew from N1.01 to N5.55 per dollar on Monday.
