Jetour Automobile, a new brand launched by Chery Holding, has been introduced to the Nigerian market. The brand, named “Jetour” meaning “Convenient Tour,” aims to address consumer demands with technologically advanced features.

Key features of Jetour vehicles include:

  1. Technological Integration: The vehicles are equipped with advanced technologies such as electronic control units, vehicle controllers, and other core technologies related to Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEV).
  2. Intelligent Driving: Jetour vehicles incorporate intelligent driving features, networking capabilities, Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X), AI, big data, and electric systems.
  3. Engine Efficiency: The 1.6TGDI engine with a rapid heating thermal management system, meeting China VI emission regulations, offers fuel efficiency and high performance.
  4. Reliability: The engines used in Jetour vehicles have undergone extensive testing, including over 15,000 hours of bench testing and over 2 million kilometers of vehicle testing. These engines are used in over 80 countries worldwide.

Jetour emphasizes the intelligent manufacturing process, combining stamping, welding, painting, and general assembly. The manufacturing process incorporates automation, informatization, intelligentization, customization, flexibility, scalability, and environmental conservation.

The models available in the Nigerian market include X70-Liberty, X70 Plus-Elegance, X90 Plus-Cruise, and Dashing.
