The Acting Head of the FCT’s Civil Service, Mrs. Grace Adayilo, announced in a statement released by her Press Secretary, Ewhenji Anthony Odey, on Tuesday in Abuja that Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike had approved the payment of the New National Minimum Wage of N70,000 to all Administration employees.

The Head of Service also revealed that the Minister had approved the payment of three months’ arrears to all Administration employees, effective November 2024.

The statement also stated that the action was a part of the Minister’s commitment to the welfare of the employees.

The Head of Service stated that this gesture will motivate the Administration’s staff to support the Minister in delivering on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Mrs. Adayilo also expressed gratitude for the Minister’s timely approval of staff allowances and claims.
