In a bold move to foster financial independence among young Nigerians, renowned tech innovator Hanu Fejiro has unveiled a free training initiative focused on blockchain, cryptocurrency, and decentralized finance (DeFi).
Hosted on Telegram, the programme is open to all and designed to educate, engage, and empower participants through hands-on learning in the ever-expanding digital finance ecosystem.
The current batch of over 300 participants—drawn from sessions held in March 2024 and February 28 2025—will complete their training by the end of March 2025.
Fejiro, while speaking on the vision behind the programme, shared a powerful message about unlocking human potential: “What if the cure for cancer or world hunger is stored in an uneducated mind? We must do all we can to support everyone, both old and young,” he stated.
He further expressed his ambition to train one million people in his lifetime, aiming to equip them with the tools to thrive and contribute meaningfully to the global digital revolution.
The comprehensive curriculum covers the fundamentals of crypto and blockchain, security best practices, and real-world applications across various sectors. It also includes interactive live sessions with seasoned industry professionals, community-driven discussions, and practical assignments that offer real-time experience and reward opportunities.
