Nollywood actor Seun Jimoh questions the government about the lack of food in Nigeria and demands the declaration of a state of emergency.
Declaring a state of emergency over food production is necessary, the actor remarked on his Instagram story, given the present food crisis.
According to Seun, the only acceptable reasons for famine should be a shortage of arable land or conflict.
He requested that the authorities look at the issue of food scarcity because none of these problems exist in Nigeria.
His words: “DEAR NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT, IT’S TIME TO DECLARE A STATE OF EMERGENCY ON FOOD PRODUCTION! THE ONLY TIME THERE SHOULD BE FAMINE IN THE LAND IS IF THERE IS WAR OR IF THERE IS NO ARABLE LAND !! THERE IS NO REASON WHY FOOD SHOULD BE SCARCE IN NIGERIA !”
