Developed in collaboration with UneeQ, Sama 2.0 made her debut at the Qatar Airways stand in ITB Berlin, captivating audiences with her conversational AI capabilities. Equipped with top-notch technology, Sama serves as a walking encyclopedia for Qatar Airways, interacting with passengers in real-time and providing a plethora of information, from frequently asked questions to destination details.
Sama is accessible through Qatar Airways’ digital platform, QVerse. The AI-powered flight attendant personalizes the travel journey by providing assistance throughout, from pre-trip planning to post-flight support.
Babar Rahman, Qatar Airways’ Vice President of Marketing, emphasized the airline’s commitment to innovation, stating that Sama 2.0 represents a new standard in air travel. He highlighted the significance of merging technology with human connection, setting a precedent for the industry at large.
