In Lagos State, Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, defeated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate.
According to prior reports, Tinubu received 416,431 votes, while Obi received 449,088. Nonetheless, out of the 17 LGAs that were announced, Tinubu won in 10 and LP in 7.
Obi received more votes overall after the last three Local Government Areas were added up, despite Tinubu winning more local government areas.
All 20 local government districts have had their results released, and Tinubu won in 11 and Peter Obi won in 9. Finally, Tinubu won 541,850 votes against Obi’s 582,664 votes.
