The Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers has made a significant announcement by launching an exciting initiative known as “FUZE2.0.” This initiative is designed to empower and support young talents in Nigeria across various creative domains, including music, dance, fashion, and technology. The unveiling of this initiative took place during a special event at the Stanbic IBTC Pension Customer Experience Centre in Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos state.

At the launch event, the Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, Olumide Oyetan, emphasized that the FUZE initiative is a testament to the company’s commitment to fostering creativity and innovation among young Nigerians. The initiative seeks to identify, nurture, and showcase the talents of the youth, encouraging them to explore and excel in their respective fields.

Oyetan announced that winners of the FUZE2.0 show would collectively take home a substantial prize fund of N32 million. In a similar event last year, Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers invited Nigerians aged 18 to 35 to participate in the FUZE talent hunt. After four stages of competition and rigorous judging, twelve exceptionally talented individuals were rewarded with a portion of the N32 million prize money.

This year, Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers is taking the initiative a step further by incorporating a two-week boot camp into the show, allowing 28 finalists to hone their skills and compete for a slice of this year’s N32 million prize money. The addition of the boot camp is intended to enhance the participants’ abilities and offer them a unique opportunity for skill development.

The competition’s judging panel includes experts in various categories, with Banke Kuku for fashion, RicHassani for music, Bunmi Olunloyo for dance, and Dr. Stanley Jacob, representing the tech category. The grand finale of the competition is scheduled for December 23, 2023, at the Livespot Entertarium in Lagos, Nigeria. This event promises to be an exciting showcase of talent and creativity.

The FUZE Talent Show will be broadcast on television starting on November 11, 2023, and will run for an exhilarating six weeks. What sets this competition apart is that viewers will have the opportunity to vote for their preferred finalists in each category, and the winners will be officially unveiled at the FUZE Festival event on Saturday, December 23, 2023. This interactive format engages the public and adds an element of excitement to the competition.

In addition to the talent showcase, the event promises to be a grand spectacle, featuring exciting acts and performances that will be announced closer to the big day. Attendees can also look forward to an inviting marketplace where they can shop for their favorite fashion and lifestyle pieces, alongside a delectable array of food and drinks. It’s an event designed to cater to various interests and offer a memorable experience.

Nigerians interested in participating in FUZE 2.0 are encouraged to register for the competition through the Stanbic IBTC Events App, which is available on both Android and iOS platforms. This user-friendly registration process ensures that aspiring talents have easy access to the opportunity to showcase their skills and potentially win a share of the substantial prize fund.

This underlines the organization’s commitment to empowering and supporting the youth by providing a platform to explore and exhibit their talents while fostering creativity and innovation within the country. Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers sees this initiative as a way of giving back to the community and contributing to the development of young talent in Nigeria.
