Oando Plc claims that in just three months, its output of crude oil has surged by about 50%.
It stated that the accomplishment came after Eni’s purchase of Nigerian Agip Oil Company earlier this year.
According to a statement released by the firm on Sunday, Dr. Ainojie Irune, the managing director of Oando Energy Resources Nigeria Limited, revealed this information during a recent meeting with its joint venture partners, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited, in Abuja.
In August, the business revealed that it had acquired a 100% share in the Nigerian Agip Oil corporation from the $783 million Italian energy corporation Eni.
Speaking during the meeting, the managing director of Oando conveyed his appreciation for NNPCL’s assistance and took advantage of the occasion to give important updates on the company’s progress since its acquisition in August 2024.
He also underlined the business’s dedication to raising output and enhancing operational effectiveness.
