The Naira rose to N1,565 per dollar in the parallel market Wednesday, up from N1,570 on Monday.
However, the Naira dropped to N1,537 per dollar on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM).
The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, reported that the indicative exchange rate for the naira increased to N1,537 per dollar from N1,528 per dollar on Monday, suggesting a N9 depreciation for the currency.
As a result, the difference between the parallel market and the NFEM rate has decreased to N37 per dollar, down from N42 on Monday.
