The Naira dropped to N1,545 per dollar on the parallel market Friday, down from N1,525 on Thursday.
Similarly, the Naira declined to N1,542 per dollar on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM).
The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, reported that the indicative exchange rate for the naira increased to N1,542 per dollar from N1,520 per dollar on Thursday, suggesting a N22 depreciation for the currency.
As a result, the difference between the parallel market and NFEM rates fell to N3 per dollar from N5 per dollar on Thursday.
