On Friday, the Naira gained to N1,585 per dollar on the parallel market, up from N1,590 per dollar on Thursday.
Similarly, the Naira rose to N1,574.2 per dollar in the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market, or NAFEM.
According to FMDQ data, the indicative exchange rate for NAFEM declined to N1,574.2 per dollar from N1,593.62 per dollar on Thursday, implying a naira appreciation of N19.42.
The market’s dollar volume climbed by 127.5 percent to $323.11 million, up from $141.99 million on Thursday.
As a result, the difference between the parallel market and NAFEM rates increased to N10.8 per dollar from N3.52 per dollar on Thursday.
