On Thursday, the Naira appreciated on the official market, trading at N1,639.50 per dollar. Data from the FMDQ Exchange’s official trading platform reported that the naira increased by N42.15.
This represents a 2.5 percent increase over the previous trading day on Wednesday, when it exchanged at N1,681.65 to the dollar.
Also, total daily turnover jumped to 244.96 million dollars on Thursday, up from 196.78 million dollars on Wednesday.
At the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window, the Naira traded between N1,700.00 and N1,635.00 per dollar.
