At the ceremony, Prof. Ifeoma Mercy Isiugo-Abanihe, the Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB and Registrar, stated that the newly launched digital platform would assist not only students in accessing their results but also employers seeking to verify the authenticity of potential candidates’ results.

She stated, “It is intriguing to observe that this issue will soon be a thing of the past because candidates can visit the NDCP website to access their credentials from anywhere in the world.

Additionally, postsecondary educational institutions and employers of labour now have simple access to confirm the legitimacy of certificates that applicants or workers present.

“Therefore, allow me to state that, with God’s grace, this initiative to create a digital certificate platform, which began under my direction, will greatly simplify the lives of all involved NABTEB stakeholders in Nigeria and the diaspora.

“Candidates can obtain their certificates using web devices, including mobile phones, more quickly and easily thanks to the technologically enforced NABTEB Digital Certificate platform. Candidates can submit requests, pay, and then generate and download their certificates using this system.

According to Isiugo-Abanihe, “this will definitely go a long way to eliminate the problem of having a backlog of outstanding certificates.” Issa Abubakar, the Ministry of Education’s Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), praised NABTEB for its technological achievement.
