MultiChoice Nigeria has announced an increase in subscription prices for its DStv and GOtv packages, effective March 1, 2025.

The company attributes this adjustment to rising operational costs influenced by economic factors such as inflation and currency depreciation.

Revised DStv Prices:

  • Premium: ₦44,500 (previously ₦37,000)
  • Compact Plus: ₦30,000 (up from ₦25,000)
  • Compact: ₦19,000 (formerly ₦15,700)
  • Confam: ₦11,000 (increased from ₦9,300)
  • Yanga: ₦6,000 (previously ₦5,100)
  • Padi: ₦4,400 (up from ₦3,600)

Updated GOtv Prices:

  • Supa Plus: ₦16,800 (previously ₦15,700)
  • Supa: ₦11,400 (up from ₦9,600)
  • Max: ₦8,500 (formerly ₦7,200)
  • Jolli: ₦5,800 (increased from ₦4,850)
  • Jinja: ₦3,900 (previously ₦3,600)
  • Smallie: ₦1,900 (up from ₦1,700)

In a statement, MultiChoice Nigeria explained that the decision was made after careful consideration of the economic challenges affecting its operations.

The company emphasized its commitment to delivering high-quality content and unparalleled service to its subscribers across Nigeria.

This price adjustment comes nearly a year after the last review, reflecting the ongoing economic pressures faced by service providers in the country.

Subscribers are encouraged to adjust their budgets accordingly and consider the new rates when planning their entertainment expenses.
