Meet Odunayo Eweniyi, co-founder and COO of PiggyVest

Odunayo Eweniyi is a PiggyTech Global Limited co-founder and Chief Operations Officer. She is also a co-founder of PushCV, recruitment, and resumes writing agency.

Odunayo Eweniyi is also a co-founder and General Partner of FirstCheck Africa.

Odunayo Eweniyi’s Early Life and Education

Odunayo Eweniyi was born in Abeokuta, Ogun State, to two university professors.

She enrolled in Covenant University after graduation, an institution with many renowned alumni.

Odunayo Eweniyi had always intended to pursue medicine. She subsequently attended Covenant University and majored in Computer Engineering.

She obtained her Bachelor of Engineering in 2013 with First Class Honours (BEng).

Odunayo earned a Full Stack Web Development certificate in Computer Software Engineering from FreeCodeCamp in 2018.

She started her master’s degree in finance at SOAS University of London in 2020.

Odunayo Eweniyi is also an extremely good speaker of English and French.

Odunayo Eweniyi’s Career

PushCV

PushCV began as CV Flash, a tool that assisted individuals in creating resumes. The majority of their clients have low English skills or little experience writing CVs.

Along the way, numerous clients asked them to not only prepare their CVs but also send them on their behalf to corporations and specific employers. And thus was PushCV created!

PushCV was formed in Lagos State in 2014 by Odunayo Eweniyi, Joshua Chibueze, Somto Ifezue, and two others.

Odunayo Eweniyi is the Chief Operations Officer at PushCV in addition to being a co-founder.

PiggyVest

Odunayo Eweniyi co-founded PiggyVest with Joshua Chibueze and Somtochukwu Ifezue in January 2016, following the success of PushCV.

PiggyTech Global Limited’s Chief Operations Officer is Odunayo, while the Chief Marketing Officer is Joshua Chibueze. The Lead Product Engineer is Somto Ifezue.

PiggyVest, formerly known as Piggy Bank, is an online platform that allows users to save money and reach their financial objectives. It also allows users to invest in various businesses and earn up to a 25% return on investment.

All funds saved through PiggyVest are warehoused and managed by AIICO Capital, Nigeria’s largest asset management firm. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has also registered and licensed PiggyVest.

PiggyVest works with Paystack, a major Nigerian payment processor that is PCIDSS-compliant, to handle your information.

FirstCheck Africa

Eloho Omame and Odunayo Eweniyi co-founded FirstCheck Africa in January 2021.

FirstCheck Africa is an angel fund and investor community led by women. They are enabling African women in the technology industry to raise finance. This is accomplished by signing the first checks and opening doors for additional African women to invest in technology firms.
