Etop Ikpe’s Life and Education

Etop Ikpe grew up in Lagos after being born in Akwa Ibom state. He is a bright, reserved individual who grew up with a mathematical advantage.

He taught engineering in school because of his mathematical background, but fate had it that Etop studied actuarial science, a blend of mathematics and business.

Etop is a fantastic entrepreneur with a fantastic sense of humour. His drive for achievement and the creation of job opportunities led him to establish five digital enterprises in less than 15 years. Etop Ikpe is the current CEO of Autocheck.

He visited multiple student summits to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs. “Online is a very competitive environment with a lot of intelligence,” he previously observed. To be successful, you must be intelligent.”

Etop Ikpe began his academic career in Lagos. Etop Ikpe earned with a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos in 2004.

Etop Ikpe’s Career

Etop Ikpe is a tech enthusiast and entrepreneur who has always been involved in successful ventures and innovations. In 2006, he co-founded Clickmobile, a mobile and IT solution company, with a software developer at the University of Lagos. Etop and his co-founder were able to figure out people’s problems and how to solve them using technology. This aided Etop in the long run.

Etop Ikpe founded tinker and bell media in 2008, specializing in television production. He founded Tinker and Bell Media in response to the growing demand for animation programming that includes high-quality sporting events and documentaries.

It was a success thanks to the assistance of his friends who already had access to animation studios. Along the way, he found a friend who runs fashion stitches offline and tagged him in an advisory role.

At this point, Etop Ikpe has made investments in social media marketing and online sales. 3stitches was launched by creating social media pages and shopping websites. Dealday, Nigeria’s largest online discount store, later purchased 3stitches.

Setting up 3stitches was difficult because e-commerce was still in its infancy. When he first started in business in 2007, he received a lot of negative feedback from friends and family, but he persisted.

He was a huge success in his first two years, earning around $350,000 per year. Etop Ikpe used the money from 3stitches to help his production company.

After a year, Etop Ikpe became the Co-MD of Dealday. From Dealday to Konga, he gained insight into establishing cars45. He found the models employed in South East Asia and India to be attractive and sought to implement them in Africa.

Cars45 was technically the first firm he founded from the ground up. Cars45 assisted in resolving the issue of actual car price and independently verifying the condition of the vehicle you are acquiring. He actually used Cars45 to solve a major problem.

Etop Ikpe did not carry on with the Cars45. Instead, he founded another company, Autocheck, which he now manages as CEO.

Autocheck is an automobile technology development firm that creates solutions to facilitate and improve vehicle commerce.
