INEC: Circulation Of Voting Materials To 21 States For 2023 Election

According to the Entrepreneurng report, the circulation of sensitive voting materials from the Central Bank of Nigeria to the 21 local government area offices in Adamawa State has been started by the Independent National Electoral Commission since on Thursday.

However, representatives of political parties that are registered were present when the materials were sent out through their agents.

The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Yunusa Hudu Ari, promised sufficient protection for tomorrow’s presidential elections while distributing sensitive materials i.e on Saturday.

Ballots, result sheets, and the Bimodal Voter Accreditation Systems are just a few of the sensitive materials that were released for transportation to the LGAs. We talked with the security agencies, who assured us that the elections would be conducted promptly.

Moreover, at least two police officers would be posted at each voting place, according to the police commissioner. According to the electoral guidelines, they will observe the polls remotely.

Remember that there are also military deployed, particularly in Madagali and Michika as well as some areas of Fufore.

“For ease of delivery to the voting locations on Saturday, the BVAS will be moved to the local government headquarters on Friday and then to the registration centers.

It is with full assurances that the commission has received from security agencies about their readiness for an orderly and peaceful outcome at the polls, Ari said he anticipates the elections to go off without a hitch.

The BVAS for the elections would be brought to the INEC local government headquarters before being sent to the registration areas and subsequently to each polling unit, according to the Adamawa INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner.

Nevertheless, the police and other security agencies collaborated to hold a routine operational procedure to demonstrate the force’s increased combat readiness ahead of tomorrow’s elections as a sign of its readiness.

Suleiman Nguroje, one of the Police Public Relations, at Adamawa state Police Command, stated that all operational resources will be used to establish a supportive and favorable atmosphere for the successful conduct of free and fair elections.
