The agreement was signed on the Brioni islands in Croatia by Slovenia, Croatia, and Yugoslavia. The agreement marked the end of the Slovenian War of Independence’s hostilities. The conflict, also known as the Ten Day War, began after Slovenia declared independence from Yugoslavia.
