In a country where economic hardship and unemployment dampen the dreams of many, Fola Arowosaye is rewriting the script; ‘one hustle at a time’. From selling perfumes, shoes, and human hair to coordinating thrift sales and serenading crowds with her music, this Abuja-based entrepreneur is the epitome of grit and grace.
A university graduate from a humble background, Fola has transformed every challenge into an opportunity.
In just five years, her resilience and innovation have built a thriving business empire in Kubwa, not only securing her financial independence but also creating jobs for others.
Unstoppable and multifaceted, Fola proves that success in Nigeria doesn’t always follow a single path.
With each venture, she is solving real problems in her community, empowering women, and reshaping what it means to be young, female, and enterprising in Nigeria today.
Fola is not just running businesses; she’s building a legacy. Speaking to EntrepreneurNG, Fola said “…yes thing are tough and difficult but I am unstoppable. I can’t steal, neither would I sell my body for any reason.
“I am not ashamed to hustle o! In my hustle lies fortune. My parents have done their best, let them rest,” she said.
Fola called on youths especially young ladies to become financially independent not for pride but so that they would have their voice heard.
