On today’s edition of Entrepreneur of the Week, we place our searchlights on one of Africa’s promising young entrepreneurs from South Africa – Emmanuel Sir Bonoko.

Many business analysts and enthusiasts believe that Africa’s large entrepreneurial nexus is responsible for the continent’s commendable resistance against the crippling effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Although many personal businesses were greatly affected, the impact was not as much as those in countries dependent on a few employers of labour.

All African entrepreneurs deserve accolades for how well they have carried themselves and continued to fight despite the harsh economic realities evident in the continent. With each passing day, more Africa entrepreneurs are celebrated for taking a bold step to make a difference – and succeeding at it.

But who is Emmanuel Sir Bonoko, and why does he deserve to be our Entrepreneur of the Week?

Meet Emmanuel Sir Bonoko – South Africa

Emmanuel Sir Bonoko is one of the most promising and influential entrepreneurs, business leaders, and speakers in South Africa. Recently, he was recognized by Forbes Africa Magazine as one of the emerging and most promising entrepreneurs to look out for in the African continent.

From scratch, Emmanuel Sir Bonoko was able to build his business into an international empire successfully. He founded EBonoko Holdings at just 19-years-old; the company is a marketing firm that offers services in Media Relations, Design and Brand Development, Brand Strategy, Public Relations Management, Promotions, Management Consultancy, and Events Hosting.

Interestingly, he has been able to build a company that has partnered with large multi-national companies such as Proudly SA, Eskom Foundation, PBT Group, Standard Bank, Exxarro Resources, etc., and is making big stripes in its expansion across Africa.

Notable among his recent achievements and awards include; BBQ Awards Emperor’s Palace Community Builder of the year 2019, Entrepreneur of the year at The SA Man Of The Year Awards 2016, KIA Young Business Achiever of the year 2017 at The BBQ Awards, etc.
