The grant was announced at the IADR’s 20th-anniversary celebration, themed “Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry.”

During the conference, it unveiled “Colgate MyToothDoc,” an innovative Oral Care AI Chatbot on WhatsApp. Endorsed by the Nigerian Dental Association, this AI tool offers free oral health checks and personalized treatment recommendations, garnering an impressive 85% user satisfaction. It also awarded One Million Naira to Dr. Francis Omotayo Fagbule for his impactful research on preventing oral health problems among children in orphanages.
