Former President Muhammadu Buhari has extended condolences to Professor Mahmud Jega, the former chairman of the National Electoral Commission (INEC), on the loss of his mother, Hajiya Hauwa Kulu Muhammadu Jega, who died in Abuja after a brief illness.
In a statement published by Mallam Garba Shehu, buhari stated that “there is no greater loss than that of a mother.”
I’d like to send my heartfelt sympathies on the demise of your dear mother. May her soul rest peacefully.
“Please understand that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you find solace and comfort in the wonderful deeds she has left behind. May All provide her Aljannul Firdaus.”
