Bluetti, a global pioneer in renewable energy solutions, provided 50 solar power kits to disadvantaged rural households in Ilaro, Ogun State, as part of their Lighting an Africa Family (LAAF) project to alleviate energy scarcity in Africa. This strategic donation aims to alleviate rural power difficulties and increase access to clean and reliable electricity.
The donation saw the distribution of his solar power kits to people chosen based on their commitment to community development and the need for a stable source of power.
Each donated solar power package contains a battery pack, a solar panel, and LED lamps to keep each household operational during power outages. In addition to the solar kits, he provided t-shirts to all families, as well as notebooks and pens to the youngsters in attendance.
While giving hands-on instruction to the audience on how to use solar power kits optimally, Bluetti’s Country Manager, Jefferey Zhang, displayed genuine concern for the community.
In his words, “Bluetti is firmly committed to philanthropy through the LAAF project to foster improved life for African rural dwellers, particularly those who have long struggled with power supply.”
Mrs. Christianah Oduoye, the Otun-Iyaloja of Ilaro Markets, who approached Bluetti to ask his involvement, noted that the Ilaro community has long struggled with electricity scarcity, but the donation will enhance the inhabitants’ life. “We are profoundly grateful for Bluetti’s generous support.”
