The National Institute of Professional Engineers and Scientists (NIPES), in collaboration with the Dr Daniel Ejike Ewim Foundation, is offering a scholarship program totalling ₦2,000,000 for the 2025 academic year. This initiative aims to support aspiring engineers, scientists, medical doctors, pharmacists, and students in related fields.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited higher institution.
- Be studying science, engineering, or related courses.
- Be in 100-level or above.
- Complete at least one free NIPES online course and explain the skills learned in their personal statement.
Priority consideration will be given to NIPES student members. Non-members are encouraged to join NIPES to enhance their chances.
Application Process:
- NIPES Membership: Register as a student member on the NIPES website if not already a member.
- Online Course Completion: Enroll in and complete a free NIPES online course. Upon completion, obtain a certificate.
- Personal Statement Submission: Write a personal statement (500-750 words) detailing:
- Background and educational journey.
- Passion for engineering, science, or related fields.
- Academic and extracurricular achievements.
- Challenges overcome.
- Career goals and alignment with NIPES’s mission.
- Skills gained from the NIPES course and their relevance to academic or career development.
- Document Submission: Upload the personal statement along with proof of enrollment and student ID as a single document.
