FATE Scholar Program 2025/2026 for Nigerian Students

The FATE Foundation has officially opened applications for the 2025/2026 FATE Scholar Programme (FSP), a fully funded initiative aimed at supporting young, innovative Nigerians pursuing undergraduate studies in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) fields at accredited public tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

Programme Overview

The FSP is a FATE Giving initiative designed to empower exceptional students with:

  • Financial aid for tuition and academic expenses

  • Mentorship from seasoned professionals

  • Internship opportunities to gain practical experience

Successful applicants will receive support for at least four years of their undergraduate studies.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be Nigerian citizens

  • Be exceptional students with a strong academic record

  • Be 21 years old or younger at the time of application

  • Plan to pursue an undergraduate degree in a STEAM course at an accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria

  • Provide proof of admission to access the programme’s benefits

Application Timeline

  • Application Deadline: May 16, 2025

Application Process

  1. Stage 1: Submit your application via the FATE Foundation portal: soar.fatefoundation.org

  2. Stage 2: Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for further assessments.

  3. Stage 3: Participate in subsequent evaluation stages as communicated.

  4. Final Stage: Successful candidates will be notified and onboarded into the programme.
