For various reasons, Tesla, an American electric car manufacturer, has recently been in the news. This time, there’s a problem with the Tesla electric vehicle, and the complaint comes from Canada. The Canadian user noticed a problem with his car and drove it to a public location. According to the user, he was locked out of the Model S after the battery died. The problem would cost an additional $20,000 in maintenance fees from Tesla. Mario Zelaya called for a solution to the problem in a TikTok video last week. Zelaya stated in the video that he couldn’t get into the car because the Model S had lost power. Even after charging the car, the Tesla did not respond. Furthermore, he could not locate the ownership documents inside the car to sell it.
The owner yelled angrily, “This is why you shouldn’t buy a Tesla,” and he also snarled, “This car is rubbish.”
Elon Musk claims that the Tesla car battery can travel 300,000 miles
According to reports, the owner paid $140,000 for a brand new Model S in 2013. According to a Tesla service assessment chart he posted, replacing an EV’s battery would cost more than $20,000. According to the owner’s materials, the car needed to be replaced after more than 77,000 miles. Tesla CEO Elon Musk, on the other hand, claims that Tesla batteries will last between 300,000 and 500,000 miles. This also means that it will last between 21 and 25 years.
Zelaya provided an update on the event’s follow-up. When he took the Model S to the appropriate Canadian regulator for advice, the technician informed him that the battery had rusted. The air conditioner’s drain pipe causes rust above the battery compartment. The drain pipe continued to leak water into the battery cells. He eventually sold the car after paying $30 for new ownership documents. The general consensus is that users should not let their Tesla Car run out of power. If you notice that the battery is getting low, recharge it before it dies completely.
