These films convey compelling stories about modern technology and ethnic diversity. Three of these films, directed by Funke Akindele, the Lagos PDP 2023 deputy governorship candidate and noted Nollywood actress, have the top grossing Nigerian releases.

A Tribe Called Judah set a box office record of ₦1.4 billion, making it the most successful Nollywood film ever. The film was directed by Funke Akindele and Adeoluwa Owu.

Wedding Party (2016)
The Wedding Party is a romantic comedy directed by Kemi Adetiba and co-produced by Ebonylife Films, FilmOne, Inkblot Production, and Koga Studios. The Wedding Party grossed ₦452,288,605, making it the fourth highest-grossing Nigerian film ever.

Brotherhood (2022)
Greoh Studios produced Brotherhood, and the great Loukman Ali directed it. The movie grossed a staggering ₦328 million at the box office.
King of Thieves (2022)
King of Thieves, a Yoruba epic that combines culture and cinematic genius, grossed an impressive ₦320.8 million at the box office. Tope Adebayo and Adebayo Tijani co-directed the film, which was produced by Euphoria 360 Media and Anthill Studios.
Malaika (2023)
Malaika (2023), produced by Toyin Abraham Films Production and directed by Steve Sodiya, grossed a record ₦302.1 million in Nigeria, making it one of the highest-grossing films in the country.
