If you tutor in person, you get paid immediately and have cash on hand every day. However, if you tutor for a corporation online, you must adhere to their compensation structure, which may include getting weekly direct deposits unless they offer fast pay choices.

If your customers pay by credit or debit card, you usually receive your tips at the end of the night when you conclude your sales.
