Zenith Bank Plc has been honoured as the Bank of the Year, Nigeria at the 2024 edition of The Banker’s Bank of the Year Awards.

The award recognises Zenith Bank’s exemplary leadership, robust business strategies, and commitment to sustainability, including its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
The accolade is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious recognitions in the global banking industry.
Speaking on the achievement, Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive of Zenith Bank Plc, described the award as a reflection of the bank’s dedication to providing top-tier services to its customers and contributing to Nigeria’s economic growth.
“This recognition reflects our Steadfast commitment to delivering excellent services to our customers and contributing to the growth and development of the Nigerian economy,” she remarked.

The award comes as Zenith Bank expands its global footprint.
In November 2024, the bank inaugurated its Paris branch after receiving final approval from France’s banking regulator, the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution (ACPR). This move is part of its strategic goal to support clients’ global operations.
