Investors lose N216 billion as the market capitalization falls by 0.75% to N28.428 trillion from N28.644 trillion at the previous close.
A total of 554 million shares were traded in 5,168 transactions totaling N5.96 billion.
The Market Breadth closed negative, with 34 equities gaining against 20 declining in share price.

ARDOVA led the gainers with 10.00% growth to close at N22.00 and from the previous close of N20.00
NCR, TRANSCORP, and JAPAULGOLD above other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.91%, 9.69% and 9.68% respectively.
Percentage Losers
CAVERTON led other price decliners as it shed 9.48% of its share price to close at N1.05 from the previous close of N1.16
Sunu Assurance, BUA Cement and Academy Press among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.26%, 8.02% and 7.88% respectively.

ACCESSCORP traded about 139 million units of its share in 640 deals, valued at N1.47 billion.
FBNH traded 100.75 million units of its shares in 130 deals, valued at about N1.21 billion.
FCMB traded about 80 million units of its shares in 147 deals, valued at N326 million.
