Late Nigerian music icon Onyeka Onwenu, also known as Elegant Stallion, will be buried today in Lagos.
The singer died on July 30, 2024, in Reddington Hospital in Ikeja, after collapsing during a function honouring Dr Stella Okoli, Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.
According to a burial plan submitted by the family, her funeral service would be held at Fountain of Life Church Ilupeju, followed by burial at a private vault in Ikoyi, CKN News reports.
A funeral poster also claimed that the Service of Songs is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with the burial following from 2-4 p. She is survived by two sons.
