Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, emphasized the significance of entrepreneurship and skill acquisition in addressing unemployment and economic hurdles during a meeting with the State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mr. Alao Olusegun, and his team at Government House, Asaba.
Governor Oborevwori praised the NYSC’s efforts in promoting this program and assured support from the State Government. He reiterated the importance of peace and security and highlighted the role of it in creating wealth for youths, especially in the face of job scarcity.
Entrepreneurship
In response, Mr. Olusegun commended the Governor for his achievements and the development of the NYSC Permanent Camp at Issele-Uku. He also highlighted the contributions of over 15,000 corps members in various sectors of the state’s economy.
