The Naira rose to N1,730 per dollar in the parallel market Wednesday, up from N1,735 on Monday.
Similarly, the Naira rose to N1,678.93 per dollar on the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM).
According to FMDQ data, the indicative exchange rate for NAFEM declined to N1,678.93 per dollar from N1,690.37 per dollar on Monday, indicating a naira appreciation of N11.44.
As a result, the difference between the parallel market and NAFEM rates increased to N51.07 per dollar from N44.63 per dollar on Monday.
