The Naira strengthened on Tuesday in the official market, trading at 1491.67 to the dollar.
According to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) website, the naira increased by N7.31.
This is a 0.48 percent gain from the N1,498.98 per dollar recorded on Monday. Since December 2024, the Naira has been relatively stable against the dollar as a result of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) ongoing reform efforts.
The measures aim to ensure transparency in the foreign exchange (FX) market.
