A woman in China, named only by her surname Liu, has generated controversy by bequeathing her whole $2.8 million fortune to her cats and dogs, leaving her three children penniless.
According to sources, Ms. Liu initially included her children in her will, which was made a few years ago. However, she recently decided to change it, deleting them completely and making her loving pets the sole beneficiaries. This sudden change is said to be the result of Ms. Liu’s sentiments of neglect from her children, especially during her illness. She claims they contacted her seldom and provided little support.
According to the updated will, all of her assets would be utilized to care for her present pets and any future progeny. A local veterinary clinic has been selected as the inheritance’s administrator, in charge of insuring the animals’ well-being and handling the monies allotted to their care.

While some applaud her decision to prioritize the animals that brought her company and emotional support, others see it as a show of rebellion against her children, regardless of their conduct.
