To mark its 20th anniversary, leading marketing communications firm Nitro 121 recently launched a hands-on creative empowerment programme for secondary school students in Lagos.
Tagged “Fuelling Future Creatives”, the initiative forms part of the agency’s corporate social responsibility efforts aimed at nurturing young talent, according to PUNCH News.
The event brought together students from Victory Grammar School and Victory High School, both in Ikeja, for a one-day immersive session focused on digital skills and creative thinking. Participants explored core areas such as graphic design, video editing, and AI-powered content creation, receiving practical guidance from the firm’s in-house experts.

Speaking at the event, Lampe Omoyele, CEO of Nitro 121, encouraged students to embrace their creative potential. “Creativity isn’t just for artists—it’s essential in every walk of life. This programme is about helping you discover that gift and use it,” he said.
Agency professionals, including Creative Director Chamberlin Ukenedo, Copywriter Kedonojo Williams, Digital Content Writer Faith Ekekwe, and Brand Strategist Favour Alilu, served as facilitators, while Kehinde Adollo, CSR Lead, moderated the sessions.
At the close of the event, students were awarded certificates of participation, affirming their entry into the creative space. Expressing gratitude, Adeyinka Afolayan, Principal of Victory Grammar School, commended the initiative, describing it as “a valuable step in preparing our students for the digital world.”
The programme not only delivered practical tools but also inspired a new wave of creative confidence among the students, empowering them with skills to thrive in the fast-evolving digital economy.
