In essence, every born eligible citizen of Nigeria has gone out to vote for their respective candidate in anticipation of the results which are yet to be announced, as captioned by the Entrepreneurng report.
Kashim Shettima, the vice presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, has urged the entire Nigerian citizens to make sure that the results of the 2023 elections do not cause the country to become divided but rather bring peace and harmony to make Nigeria great again.
However, Shettima further warned that,
“one out of every four black men in the world is a Nigerian” and that “we cannot afford to mess up the election” as he cast his ballot at Shettima Kukawa 023 polling unit, Lawan Bukar Ward, Maiduguri metropolis by 11:45 am.
He emphasized that the 2023 presidential election is too significant to be messed up after all the sacrifices that have been made in which he called it a very momentous election in the contemporary history of this country. Everybody has long anticipated this day and finally, it arrived.
Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, has the maturity, experience, exposure, and, most importantly, the intellect to drive the progress of this nation-building, according to Shettima, who expressed confidence that the party would win the election.

The vice presidential candidate for the APC bemoaned the malfunctioning B-VAS machines and the late arrival of election materials at most polling places, expressing the hope that INEC would be pragmatic enough to extend the voting time to 10 pm to enable more people to exercise their right to vote.
If this was not been put into consideration today at most polling points it might have stopped many from voting and reduced the number of votes that will be recorded. So it was important for the INEC to see this as a challenge that could sabotage the election results if the time was not adjusted.
Despite this, kashim Shettima praised INEC for what he called an excellent election process organization. He also noted that there are 176,000 polling places in this country and it is not an easy task for INEC to fully serve all centers effectively.
Conclusion
Nevertheless, this is a message to all Nigerians that we all have decided our fate today through our vote. So whatever the outcome let’s accept that God has chosen the best sailor to ride Nigeria to a greater place and indeed a renewed hope for us. Let’s celebrate with peace and harmony. We say No to war in Nigeria. We all should stand as one Nigeria one nation.
