GTBank Announces Early Closing Hours Across Branches for Half-Year Financial Audit

Guaranty Trust Bank Ltd. (GTBank) has announced a temporary adjustment to its branch operating hours across Nigeria, set to take place on Monday, June 30, 2025, to accommodate its scheduled half-year audit exercise.

In a notice sent to customers via email on Saturday, the bank revealed that all branches would close earlier than usual on that day, with specific closure times varying by region.

According to the announcement, branches located outside Lagos (upcountry) will shut their doors by 2:00 p.m., while Lagos-based branches will close by 3:00 p.m.

GTBank encouraged customers to take advantage of its digital banking platforms to carry out transactions during the early closure period and reassured clients that regular operations will resume on Tuesday, July 1.

The bank expressed appreciation for customers’ understanding and support, stating that the audit is part of its commitment to strong financial governance and transparency.
