Trading on the Nigerian stock exchange floor ended bullish once more, as most large-cap stocks closed the week higher, gaining N847 billion for the week.
The All Share Index and market capitalization both increased by 2.95% to 54,213.09 points and N29.528 trillion, respectively.
A total of 3.8 billion shares were traded in 20,333 transactions totaling N27.5 billion.
The market breadth closed positive, with 55 stocks rising and 27 falling in share price.
TOP 10 GAINERS
International Energy Insurance led other gainers last week with a 57.14% increase, closing at N0.99 from N0.63 the previous week.
Northern Nigeria Flour Mills, GEREGU, MRS, and JOHNHOLT’s share prices increased by 44.44%, 36.88%, 20.94%, and 20.91%, respectively.
SEPLAT 20.45%, FCMB 18.07%, Sovereign Trust Insurance 15.38%, NAHCO 14.10%, and Fidelity Bank 11.11% are among the top ten gainers.
TOP 10 LOSERS
CHAMS PLC led other price decliners, losing 16.67% of its share price to close at N0.25 from N0.30 the day before.
Ikeja Hotel, GUINNESS, NCR, and Academy Press all saw their stock prices fall by 10%, 10%, 10%, and 9.85%, respectively.
Sunu Assurance (8.11%), ARDOVA (7.59%), ETERNA (6.67%), RTBRISCOE (6.67%), and Linkage Assurance (6.25%) are among the other price decliners.
