The well-known gospel performer Morenikeji Adeleke, as Egbin Orun, has passed away. In an Instagram post on Sunday, her coworker Esther Igbekele confirmed the passing. Saying that Egbin Orun left abruptly without saying goodbye, the gospel singer expressed shock and anguish.
She said that, not realising the catastrophe that would follow, the two had only spoken. Egbin Orun was commended by Igbekele for her grace, generosity, and unwavering support for her ministry.
After finishing her programme, she writes, “I got home to hear about this dreadful loss. You departed without saying farewell, prophetess Morenikeji Egbin Orun.
We had a conversation together last week without realising that you were going to leave on a journey to the great beyond. You are a wonderful, kind-hearted woman who is a great supporter of my ministry.
“God knows best, even though I am really heartbroken by your passing. Your kindness will always be remembered, and you will be sincerely missed.
