The Providence Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship 2025 is currently accepting applications from Black or African students pursuing undergraduate studies in English-speaking African countries. This scholarship, established in honour of Providence Ebubechi Napoleon (née Okoye), aims to support students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to their communities.
Scholarship Benefits:

Recipients may receive up to $250 per year, renewable for up to four years, totalling a maximum award of $1,000.

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to Black or African students studying in English-speaking African countries.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in or intend to attend an accredited undergraduate program.

Demonstrated academic excellence, leadership potential, and a strong commitment to community service are essential.

One recommendation letter from a teacher, professor, community leader, or church leader.

Proof of enrollment or acceptance into an undergraduate program.

Most recent academic transcript from high school or university.

Personal essay (500–750 words) on:
“How do you hope to create a legacy of compassion, faith, and dedication through your education, career, and personal life?” -
Resume or CV (optional) highlighting achievements, leadership roles, and community service.
