Applications are now open for the NGO Support Initiative (NSI) Grant Program in Nigeria, offering up to ₦5 million in funding for short-term, high-impact projects.

This initiative, launched by the Development Research and Projects Centre (dRPC), aims to bolster civil society organisations, particularly women-led NGOs, amid global funding challenges.

Grant Overview

  • Funding Amount: Up to ₦5,000,000 per project

  • Implementation Period: 3 months

  • Application Deadline: May 30, 2025

  • Eligibility: Registered Nigerian NGOs, with a focus on women-led organisations and those working in gender equality, education, public health, and community development.

  • Capacity Building: Recipients are required to participate in a capacity-building program to enhance organisational performance and sustainability.

  • Community Engagement: Projects must involve partnerships with communities and government entities at any level.

  • Rapid Response: Designed to support NGOs affected by recent global funding cuts, ensuring the continuity of essential services.
