The NNPC/OANDO Joint Venture Tertiary Scholarship Scheme for the 2025/2026 academic session is now accepting applications from eligible Nigerian undergraduates.
This initiative aims to support students by providing financial assistance throughout their tertiary education.​
Scholarship Categories:

Host/Transit Communities Merit Award: Exclusively for students who are indigenes of OANDO’s host or transit communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Imo States.

National Merit Award: Open to students from non-host/transit communities across Nigeria. Applicants must be studying disciplines such as Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or Agricultural Sciences.
Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Level: Applicants must be registered full-time undergraduates in Nigerian tertiary institutions and currently in their 100 level.​

Exclusions: The following categories of students are not eligible to apply:​

200-level students and above.​

Current beneficiaries of similar awards from other companies or agencies.​

Dependents of OANDO personnel.​

Proof of Local Government Area of Origin.

JAMB result.

Letters from Community Paramount Ruler and CDC Chairman (for Host Communities Merit Award applicants).​

Deadline: The application period is from March 27th to April 30th, 2025. Late applications will not be considered.​
Note: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to participate in an aptitude test at designated centers. Applicants are responsible for their transportation costs to and from the test centers.​
