Air Peace has revealed plans to inaugurate its London flight service, accompanied by special student fares to make travel more accessible for students pursuing studies abroad.
During the Airline’s travel agents’ forum held in Lagos to mark the launch of the London route, Mr. Allen Onyema, Chairman of Air Peace, addressed attendees.
Onyema emphasized the importance of managing the special student fares to prevent passenger misuse. He highlighted that these fares are designed to facilitate affordable travel for students during holiday seasons and school resumption periods.
“Many parents have experienced the strain of being separated from their children for extended periods. Numerous students have been unable to return home for over two years due to the prohibitive cost of fares to London. With the introduction of student fares, parents will no longer face financial hardship to fund their children’s travel expenses,” Onyema stated.
He expressed confidence that Air Peace’s introduction of flights to London would significantly alter this narrative, offering families a more affordable travel option.
Onyema underscored that the decision to launch the London route stemmed from his commitment to Nigeria and his determination to address the high fares prevalent on the Nigeria-London route.
Air Peace’s initiative to introduce student fares alongside its London service aligns with its mission to provide accessible and affordable travel options, particularly for students pursuing educational opportunities abroad.
