The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has announced a partnership with the African Export-Import Bank (Afrexim Bank) to promote agricultural innovation in Nigeria.
In a statement released on Thursday, the ACCI disclosed that it is also collaborating with Autodex Nigeria Ltd (ANL) and Henan Qianli Machinery Co Ltd (QNL) to drive this initiative.
According to Emeka Obegolu, SAN, President of the ACCI, the chamber will advance this effort through the Maiden Edition of the Farm, Food, and Allied Technologies (FARMFATECH) Expo 2024 in Abuja. The event aims to be a dynamic platform showcasing the latest agro-mechanization technologies and innovative food processing solutions while fostering strategic partnerships in agriculture.
Obegolu stated:
“The expo will offer a valuable platform for stakeholders eager to explore collaborative opportunities aimed at boosting the agricultural value chain and improving financing models for this vital sector.”
He emphasized that the expo is a critical component of agricultural marketing, a sector essential for the survival and growth of individuals, businesses, and governments. The ACCI is dedicated to fostering collaborations that enhance the objectives of all involved parties through effective marketing strategies and skills.
The FARMFATECH Expo 2024 is expected to bring together various stakeholders in agriculture, including farmers, investors, policymakers, and technology providers, to exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and create new opportunities for growth and development in the Nigerian agricultural sector.
